ProQuest's Audit Committee, with the assistance of outside experts Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flora, July 31 completed its investigation into the circumstances leading to its financial misrepresentation and restatement. The company said the earlier reported scope has proven accurate and that the investigation places responsibility for the errors on the shoulder of a former finance VP of the Information and Learning unit, who has been terminated.
