TURKISH hoteliers are offering price reductions of up to 25% in a bid to tempt tourists back next year.
Jewel in the Crown Holidays managing director Platon Loizou said following this year? disasters, which included bird flu and terrorist bombings, the Turkish trade has launched a price offensive.
As well as the price reductions some hoteliers also offering free half-board upgrades in May and June as well as free child places, all of which are being passed on in the operator? new Jewel of Turkey Summer 2007 programme.
He said: ?Hoteliers are giving the deals to try to revive the market. The repeat customers are already booking but we need to tempt back the first-timers.
?I?m still trying to put together more deals for the consumer that will offer value for money.?
