Architects for Aid was set up 18 months ago by architect and broadcaster Maxwell Hutchinson, after a close shave during the Asian tsunami. Convinced that architects had much to offer during disaster relief and reconstruction, he founded the charity to provide and train architects to work with NGOs around the world.
