Moscow, 6 October: The stabilization of the situation in Afghanistan remains one of the priorities of Russia's foreign policy, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said today.

"Afghanistan remains Russia's priority partner, and the situation in and around Afghanistan is one of the priorities of our foreign policy," Lavrov said at a meeting with his Afghan counterpart Rangin Dadfar-Spanta.
