According to London's Channel 4, police spotted a Peugeot 405 traveling on the wrong side of the road. When they stopped the car, they discovered its driver was blind and had been taking directions and instructions from his passenger-whose own license had been revoked. The driver, who lost both eyes in a bomb blast in Iraq, was convicted of dangerous driving, though he told the court he was an experienced driver prior to losing his vision.
