Web content management system provider Jadu has called on its peers in the marketplace to play fair with local authorities as they move over from the Local Government Category List (LGCL) of metadata to the new Integrated Public Sector Vocabulary (IPSV) standard.
Jadu CEO Suraj Kika says that
web content management vendors must improve their support for the
e-Government Metadata Standard (e-GMS) and not exploit local authorities by charging additional fees for providing systems that comply with the latest standards.
"Reports are emerging of councils failing to comply," Kika has told IWR.
This in turn is creating major disruptions in government information management.
