Zibb seeks to be the missing business link
Business-to-business content needs its own search engine. Mark Chillingworth reviews Zibb's first try
' site review
It doesn't seem plausible that an area of information exists that is not adequately indexed and available through a major search engine, but according to business magazine publisher Reed Business Information that is indeed the case. Business to business (B2B) is, Reed Business claims, poorly served by the current crop of search engines. Reed's Zibb.com is an attempt to plug that gap, but does it do the business?
Zibb is aiming to be the search engine for business information that sister service Scopus is for the scientific world -- Reed Business is part of the Reed Elsevier empire. To ensure that no one gets the wrong idea about Zibb, the mantra below the logo is "Strictly business". Currently Zibb is in beta.
The Zibb search engine provides B2B searchers with a single search engine for news, suppliers, products and blogs.
