Japan's Nissan Chemical Industries and Mitsui Chemicals are reported to have reached agreement to integrate their respective fertilizer operations, Nissan Agri and Mitsui Toatsu Fertilizers. The merger is due to be completed in April 2007, when Nissan Chemicals and Mitsui Chemicals, together with Mitsui & Co., will establish a new company to be called Sun Agro.
