Last week I read in the papers that ministers had not agreed on the vision. Encyclopaedia Encarta defines vision as "physiological power of sight.

Vision is the faculty by which, through the material organ, the eye, the visible external world is perceived". Encarta Dictionary defines vision as "far sightedness: The ability to anticipate possible future events and developments. A vision describes where the goal-setters want to see the country in the future.

Many theories

In Uganda we all want to industrialise and utilise all the advantages of industrialisation. In order to implement a national vision, the leadership must agree on what and how to achieve it. There are many theories on how societies can be transformed.
