GULU town couldn't wait for the first boxing gymnasium in the area to be officially opened last weekend.

Bare knuckle sparring, shadow boxing and punch bag action lit up the Redeemed Boxing Gymnasium and Recreation Centre on Saturday as a huge crowd cheered.

Several youths had to be restrained when the gloves were finally brought on Sunday - the day the facility was officially opened by Pastor Sharon Predovich from United States.
