DORCUS Inzikuru tops the sportsperson of the year 2005 nominations ahead of the crowning today at Lugogo.
The nominees' list has Inzikuru, fellow athlete Boniface Kiprop and rally driver Riyaz Kurji.
Inzikuru, a World and Commonwealth 3000m steeplechase champion, looks set to take the country's top sports accolades after a successful 2005 that climaxed with a steeplechase gold at the World Championships In Helsinki, Finland.
She won all her races including the World Athletics Final on top of rewriting the African record twice to 9:15.04 and topping the IAAF rankings in the …
