USA, UK and Singapore push up SCRAs to $57.7 million.

The revival of interest among UK and USA investors in September and continued showing up Singaporean investors in the market throughout the last three months pushed up balances in non-residents Special Convertible Rupee Accounts (SCRAs) to a record $57.7 million on September 26.

According to a data update released by the State Bank on September 27. These were $51.5 million on September 22. The surge owed mainly to investments by UK and USA, who together brought in some $54 million during September so far, including about $10 million on September 26 alone.
