Dipankar Chakraborty NEW DELHI, Sept. 28: Seemingly emboldened by the top BJP leader and former Prime Minister, Mr Atal Behari Vajpayees recent words of praise for his leadership, the party president Mr Rajnath Singh has begun acting tough on attempts to erode his authority within the party. The latest provocation for Mr Singh to crack the whip, according to sources, was over the issue of finalisation of the BJPs countrywide campaign against the Congress-led UPA government on the issue of rendition of the national song, Vande Mataram.
