HP launches Designjet series for proofing.(Hewlett-Packard Co.)(Brief article)
Hewlett-Packard (HP) has launched a series of Designjet printers for proofing, photography and fine art printing.
It unveiled the machines at Photokina in Cologne, where it also revealed a new scaleable RIP for the HP Indigo press and light cyan and light magenta ElectroInks for the digital press.
The Designjet Z Photo Printer Series incorporates a spectrophotometer on the printhead carriage to enable closed-loop colour control for paper stock profiling and proof verification.
