Taipei, 27 September: President Chen Shui-bian, Vice-President Annette Lu, Premier Su Tseng-chang and ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Chairman Yu Shyi-kun are scheduled to attend a large-scale rally in Kaohsiung, southern Taiwan Saturday [27 September].

DPP Secretary-General Lin Chia-lung said that during the rally, President Chen will speak on "Taiwan's new Constitution" while Vice-President Lu will speak on "Setting Aside Confrontation and Opening up Dialogue". Premier Yu will speak on the Executive Yuan's social welfare …
