That the wife of Major General Salihu Musa Lemu, Chief of Administration and former Provost Marshal of the Nigerian Army, (Aisha) collapsed twice during last Thursday's burial ceremonies for 13 senior military officers who died in the ill-fated 228 Airforce plane is no longer news.

What however many people didn't know, which may have precipitated her state of mind and restlessness, was the fact that Lemu's death in particular could have been averted.
