Sep. 26--The 28th annual North Mecklenburg High School Barbecue will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 6 at the school, 11201 Old Statesville Road in Huntersville. To-go orders begin at 11 a.m and can be picked up in the student parking lot off Alexanderana Road. You can also dine in at the cafeteria from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets are $8 for a plate or 12 ounces of meat (about 4 sandwiches). You must pay with cash or a check payable to "NMHS PTSA." Lunch deliveries are available at 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to businesses located between exits 18 and 30 on Interstate 77. You must place orders of 10 plates or more before Friday. To place…
