Protasco confident of RM1b order book by mid-2007.

ROAD construction company Protasco Bhd is confident that its order book will double to RM1 billion by the middle of next year, helped mainly by projects it hopes to win under the Ninth Malaysia Plan (9MP).

Protasco, which also helps to maintain and rehabilitate roads, currently has RM450 million worth of contracts in hand.

These include the RM246 million rehabilitation and road-upgrading contract in Kedah recently awarded by the Public Works Department for projects implemented under the 9MP under a joint-venture basis.
