Punjab Minister for Agricultural Marketing, Rana Muhammad Qasim Noon has said that agriculture marketing information service (MIS) has been established with Rs 112.8 million, primarily for sustainable growth in agricultural production.

In addition, MIS would help in price stabilisation, efficient flow of commodities between surplus and deficit areas, matching 'production demand' by making the farmers aware about seasonal price and patterns, stated a handout issued here on Saturday.
