Sep. 24--With Sir Purr offering encouragement, students at Billingsville Elementary School had a few more laughs and smiles than usual as they ate their lunches Wednesday. The Carolina Panthers' mascot was among several visitors at the school as the Southeast Dairy Association and the Panthers celebrated Pantherberry Blue Milk Day at the southeast Charlotte school. "It's a great way to encourage students to drink milk and learn about the importance of nutrition and including dairy in their diets," said Billingsville Elementary Principal Byron Campbell.
