Section: Economy - The Thai economy is likely to begin to recover at the end of the first quarter of next year since negative factors have gradually eased, according to University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTC)'s Economic and Business Forecasting Center.

Thanavat Polvichai, the center's director, said on Thursday that a survey conducted by UTTC and the Thai Chamber of Commerce through questionnaires with entrepreneurs nationwide during September 8-12 found that perspectives of local business persons toward the Thai economy had significantly improved.
