Sep. 17--LODI -- Lodi has hired a Tokay High School graduate as its new city clerk.

Randi Johl will return to her hometown Oct. 16 to take over for Susan Blackston, who resigned in May.

Johl, 32, is currently city clerk in Fountain Valley. She has seven years of municipal experience, including working as a law clerk for a Southern California law firm specializing in municipal agencies.

Johl is a member of the Orange County Voting Rights Act Task Force and earned her law degree at Trinity Law and Graduate school, where she…
