The planned minimum constitutional reforms should provide for a law that bars people adversely mentioned in connection with scandals from holding public office, a human rights commission has said.

"They should include those mentioned in the Parliamentary Public Accounts and Public Investments committees," said the Government-funded Kenya National Commission on Human Rights.

"Persons mentioned in the Ndung'u report on illegal allocation of public land and the Mr Justice Akilano Akiwumi report on land clashes should also be barred from contesting for public …
