There are more well-off people who rely on the print media for information than previously thought.

Hence, companies are advised to review their advertising media mix if affluent segments of the market are their targets, results of a market survey showed.

Citing preliminary results of its first "Media Atlas" industry survey, market research firm Synovate Inc. said 42% of those surveyed in the Greater Manila Area - composed of Metro Manila and immediately surrounding provinces - aged 15-64 years, read newspapers daily, while 47% read magazines regularly.
