KEY heavyweight index-linked counters continuing dips weighed down the benchmark Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (KLCI) yesterday, amid rising second and third liners and advances beat declines by 390 to 308.

The KLCI fell back from its intra-day high of 956.50 to its intra-day low of 949.34, closing at 953.70, giving a day-on-day loss of 2.02 points, or 0.21 per cent.

Tebrau Teguh Bhd rose in-step with the recently battered counters like Iris Corp and Mobif. Its daily price trend climbed to close at 45 sen yesterday, posting a day-on-day gain of 9 sen, or 26 per cent.
