Presidential Commission on Good Government (PCGG) Chairman Camilo L. Sabio was arrested yesterday morning in his office by the Senate sergeant- at-arms by virtue of an order from the joint Senate committee on government corporations and public services.

The arrest came after the Senate joint committee cited the PCGG commissioners, together with five executives of the Philippine Communications Satellite Corp. (Philcomsat), for contempt, after they repeatedly snubbed investigations into alleged "dissipation" of the company.
