Sep. 13--Try dodging a test in the South Huntington School District, and you might just see a school minibus pulling up to your house with a dean of students aboard. The bus sweeps are part of redoubled efforts at the district's Walt Whitman High School to make sure students show up for state exams. And those efforts have proved successful -- so much that Walt Whitman is one of 29 high schools statewide removed yesterday from Albany's annual list of those failing to meet academic standards.
