Recognizing the growth and the unique requirements of the small business/home office customers, Steelcase Inc. announced in late September that it had formed Turnstone, a new company that will serve these markets with a wide range of desks, seating, storage units, and accessories for the office. Steelcase, which describes itself as the world's largest designer and manufacturer of office furniture, has been studying this market for some time, and the launch of this new company and product line is yet another indication that this market is substantial.
