The U.S. Federal government's flexiplace program received some recognition in the recently-announced National Performance Review (also known as the "Reinventing Government" project) championed by Vice President Gore. Ellen Russell of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) faxed me an October 21 memorandum directed at Federal agency personnel directors from Lorraine Green, Deputy Director of OPM. It reads in part:
