Sep. 10--BERKELEY -- Edison High graduate Lavelle Hawkins said he felt unusually calm on the bus ride to Memorial Stadium on Saturday. "I just said to myself, 'Lavelle, go out there and have some fun,' "the Bears' junior wide receiver said. "I felt really relaxed. I was thinking something was wrong with me."
