Vee hopes export award will bring recognition.

Sep. 6--Vee Rubber Co, a major producer and exporter of tyres, hopes that a recent Prime Minister's Export Award will increase its recognition in the international market as well as its acceptance in the local one.
The company was among 24 exporters to receive an award from caretaker prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra last week. It won in the distinctive development and marketing category.
Vee received PM's awards for outstanding performance in 1995, 1998 and 2004.
