Sep. 6--The Crown Property Bureau will waive six months' rent for retail spaces at Suan Lum Night Bazaar if tenants register to relocate by April next year.

Tenants will have until Oct 15 to register, otherwise they will lose out on the chance to stay rent-free.

The bureau rented out the space opposite Lumpini Park to P Con Development (Thai) Co for three years from 2003. P Con then sub-rented the space to more than 300 small tenants who operate retail business there.

The contracts expired in April this year, but the bureau agreed to extend the rental period for one year to help tenants find new locations, moving the deadline to April 1, 2007.
