Five bodies pulled from Tigris River; seven more found in Baghdad.

Within its 1800 gmt newscast on 5 September, Baghdad Al-Sharqiyah Television in Arabic carries the following security-related reports:

- An Iraqi Interior Ministry source said that five bodies bearing gunshot wounds and signs of torture were pulled from the Tigris River near Al-Suwayrah south of Baghdad.

- Iraqi police found seven bodies bearing gunshot wounds to the head in Baghdad. Five of these bodies were found in Al-A'zamiyah.

- Unidentified gunmen attacked three persons in Al-Dawrah in southern Baghdad. Gunmen also assassinated a person in Al-Latifiyah in southern Baghdad.
