MyiLibrary gets personal with e-book searches
Kim Thomas
E-book provider MyiLibrary has updated the search facilities in its e-book platform and added the ability to create personal accounts.
James Tucker, MyiLibrary's marketing co-ordinator, said the new search facility reduced the time it took to carry out comprehensive searches.
Users can also search by Library of Congress classification. "If you are interested in history, for example, you can enter the search term 'history' and refine it further through a menu on the side listing items such as 'British history'," said Tucker.
By creating a personal account, users will be able to save their searches for subsequent viewing.
