IRWAN ANUAR Materials engineer with Petronas IRWAN Anuar is aware that he once held a dream job. Between 2000 and 2005, he was one of the five Malaysian engineers seconded by Petronas in the Sauber Petronas Formula One team.

The 29-year-old is now back with the national oil company in Kuala Lumpur but it was his stint with Sauber (which has since been renamed BMW Sauber) that many in Malaysia will remember him for.
