Srinagar, 31 August: Brushing aside ally PDP's [People's Democratic Party] demand for divesting finance and planning portfolios from its Deputy Chief Minister Muzaffar Hussain Beigh, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad Thursday [31 August] effected a reshuffle of portfolios of his ministers maintaining status quo in the case of the PDP leader.

Chief of the Progressive Democratic Party (PDP) Mehbooba Mufti met Azad and demanded that Beigh be stripped of the two key portfolios and those be handed over to her father Mufti Mohammad Sayeed's close aide …
