The Santa Cruz Assembly ended at 2330 local time last night, delegating to the committee's leadership the authority to take the necessary measures to ensure the decision of the people of Santa Cruz is respected. No measures were adopted, but rather the Assembly ratified its rejection of the modifications to the National Institute for Agrarian Reform (INRA) Law, of the distribution of public lands, and of the new education law, and called on the people of Bolivia to defend democracy.
