Several schools in Yala Province are forced to suspend their classes following simultaneous bomb attacks at several banks on Thursday [31 August] as parents rushed to pick up their children from schools. Parents were worried of the children's safety out of concern that that schools would be next target of the suspected militants. The bomb attacks on several banks in Yala killed at least two people and injured many others on Thursday.
