Two escort ships - the Magadanets and the Karelia - have arrived in Kamchatka from the Baltic port of Vysotsk to reinforce the coast guard grouping in the north-east of Russia. They covered the Northern Seaway in 28 days, which is a record time. The last voyage of this kind took place almost 20 years ago.
