Davao City - This metropolis needs a hotel and convention complex, in the near to medium term, to accommodate the increasing number of big events and visitors, a ranking local official said. Wendel Avisado, city administrator, noted such complex would allow the city to host bigger conventions similar to what Cebu City has been hosting in recent years, including the ASEAN summit scheduled next month.
