Aug. 31--Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson wasn't the best student growing up. He was first arrested at 13 and by the time he turned 17, he'd been arrested nine times. The pro wrestler turned movie star spoke to a packed auditorium at Madison High School in South Dallas on Wednesday.

He was promoting Dallas After-School All-Stars, an initiative that combines fun and learning after the school day -- with the goal of keeping children safe. "I made a lot of bad decisions," Mr. Johnson, national spokesman for After-School All-Stars, told the students.
