Section: Regional News - Malaysia and Venezuela signed an agreement on double taxation avoidance on Aug. 28.

The agreement on avoidance of double taxation and prevention of income tax evasion was signed by Venezuelan Foreign Minister Nicolas Maduro and Malaysian Second Finance Minister Nor Mohamed Yakcop.

The agreement was finalised during the current four-day visit to Malaysia by Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, who arrived in Kuala Lumpur on Aug. 27, according to the Malaysian news agency …
