Vietnam: Deputy PM praises Turkey's role, initiative.

Section: Regional News - Vietnam placed a high value on the role and position held by Turkey in the region as well as the world at large, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Khiem said.

At his meeting with Minister of Interior Abdulkadir Aksu in Hanoi on Aug. 28, Deputy PM Khiem, also acting as Foreign Minister, welcomed Turkey's initiative concerning a cooperation model which included both countries as well as a third party, and spoke of the need to increase the exchange of visits by high-ranking leaders and businessmen.

The Deputy PM said he hoped trade between the two countries would continue to grow in the future.
