If your library-service community includes people whose cultures and ethnic backgrounds include American Indians, Asian/Pacific Americans, African Americans, Chinese Americans, or Latinos or others who are Spanish-speaking, then your organization should be represented at the first Joint Conference of Librarians of Color, "Gathering at the Waters: Embracing Our Spirits, Telling Our Stories," slated for October 11-15 in Dallas.
