THE KATHMANDU POST

1. At least five persons died and dozens others are feared dead as monsoon triggered floods and landslides hit different districts. This has crippled life in the mid-western and western regions of the country. (p 1) [see www.gorkhapatra.org.np]

2. Visiting US Congressmen led by Jim Kolbe has urged the Bhutanese government to repatriate its people, who have been living in eastern Nepal under the protection of UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR). (P 1) [see website]
