Vietnam deputy PM says party chief's official visit to China "great success".

Hanoi: Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Khiem said he himself sensed an increasing trust between the two parties and states at all levels during the just-concluded visit to China by the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) General Secretary Nong Duc Manh. Khiem, who is also a party Politburo member and foreign minister, confirmed the visit as a great success in a press briefing held upon his landing in Hanoi on 26 August. He was on a five-day visit in China with the Vietnamese Party delegation led by party General Secretary Manh.
