Good news Acura TL fans: The Type-S is back. The 2007 Acura TL lineup enters the midsize luxury market with revised exterior and interior styling, an improved navigation system and the reintroduction of the Type-S model.
The Type-S returns to the lineup after a three-year absence. It features a 3.5-liter, 286-hp, 256-lb-ft VTEC V6, and includes a retuned suspension and S-specific styling and trim. The engine is mated to a new five-speed automatic with paddle shifters, or a close-ratio six-speed manual. The regular TL comes with a 3.2-liter, 258-hp, 233-lb-ft VTEC V6.
