Aug. 24--Thirty years ago this month, Vince Papale was living his dream as a walk-on member of the Philadelphia Eagles. Last night, he stood on the red carpet outside a Manhattan movie theater for the world premiere of Invincible, the Disney film based on his life. He was just as incredulous. "I'm out of my mind," Papale said, wearing a shiny, gray suit and open shirt, his hair slicked back, his large teeth flashing, a crushing swirl of celebrity around him: Mark Wahlberg, the actor who plays him; Elizabeth Banks, who plays a love interest; Ericson Core, the director who re-created Veterans Stadium to give the story -- shot in Philadelphia -- some authenticity. Michael Strahan, the New York Giants great, embraced him in a big man-hug. Tonight, Papale and a few of the principals will walk another red carpet, outside the Prince Music Theater on Chestnut Street in his hometown. The 8 p.m. screening is a benefit for Eagles Youth Partnership and City Year. The film opens in theaters tomorrow. Dick…
