MP Kalonzo Musyoka's diplomatic passport will not be renewed.

The former Foreign minister yesterday confirmed that his 20-year-old passport had expired and would not be renewed but said the move contradicted international diplomatic practice.

Principal immigration officer Joseph Ndathi said his office normally gets the list of those who qualify for diplomatic passports from the ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"Ordinary MPs do not qualify for diplomatic passports and that is the case with Mr Musyoka," said Mr Ndathi.
