Priscilla Keogh, president of North Dakota MTA and Katherine Keim, NCTM, immediate past president of Colorado State MTA contributed the following information about their respective state organizations:
North Dakota MTA celebrated its 50th anniversary this year at the annual state conference held in Grand Forks in June. NDMTA has honored five Foundation Fellows, sponsors yearly commissioned composers, has a strong Music Link program with more than 70 members, and holds Music Rallies, which tests theory and keyboard skills. The first Collegiate Chapter was formed in 2005, and a second chapter will soon become a reality.
